Tree Poetry LLC (“we,” “us”) operates the Tree Poetry Minibooks mobile app (the “App”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Content you create: poems, stories, and other text you write in the App, and photos you choose to add from your camera or photo library for your minibook pages or activity submissions.
- Submission information: when you submit a poem or activity for possible publication, we collect what you submit along with contact information you provide, and, where the submitter is a minor, parental/guardian consent information as part of that flow.
- Account information: if you create an account, we collect the information you provide (such as name and email) and your agreement to our Terms of Use at sign-up.
- Technical information: basic device and app-version information needed to operate the App. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
How We Use Information
- To let you create, save, and read minibooks in the App.
- To review submitted poems and activities, and, with consent, publish them to the in-app library.
- To operate reporting and blocking features, and to enforce our Terms of Use.
- To communicate with you about your submissions or account.
Content Moderation, Blocking & Reporting
All submissions are reviewed by our team before appearing in the shared library — nothing you submit is published without review. The App lets you report content and block other users; reported content is reviewed by our team.
Children’s Privacy
The App is designed to be family- and classroom-friendly. Submissions from minors require parental or guardian consent as part of the submission flow. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what a supervised submission requires. Parents and guardians may contact us to review, correct, or delete their child’s information.
Location & Payments
The App does not access or share your precise location and does not include in-app purchases.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the App (such as our cloud hosting/backend infrastructure) or as required by law.
Data Retention & Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account, submissions, or personal information by contacting us at the email below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
